ALL COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
ALL VEHICLES over 9,000 LBS. GROSS WEIGHT
ALL VEHICLES with TRAILER over 16,000 LBS. GROSS WEIGHT
MUST be registered with the N.J. DEP to
haul/dispose of any solid waste
(both personal and/or client waste, farmer plates)
You need to register any/all vehicles that will be used in the hauling of solid waste.
Per N.J.A.C. 7:26-3.2 (a):
“No person shall engage or continue to engage in the transportation of
solid waste in this State without first obtaining an approved registration
statement from the Department. The registration year, unless otherwise
established by the Department, shall run from May 1 through April 30.”
Non-Registered Vehicles will be Denied Access to the Warren County District Landfill.
You can schedule an appointment to fill out an application form at the Pollution Control
Financing Authority of Warren County Administrative Office, 500 Mt. Pisgah Ave.,
Oxford, NJ between the hours of 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday by calling (908) 453-2174.

You may contact the N.J. DEP at (609) 292-7081 to schedule an appointment at their office in Trenton.
The following documents are required:
- Company Liability Insurance Certificate (as appropriate)
- Vehicle(s) Registration
- Vehicle(s) Insurance Card
- Lease Agreement (if applicable)
- Certified Check or Money Order made Payable to the: “ Treasurer,
State of New Jersey “ for the appropriate number of vehicles to be
registered for the current registration period.
