On January 15, 2007 the Warren County Recycling Center on Route 519 was closed and relocated at the Warren County District Landfill.

The Convenience Center was recently expanded and now includes an area for residents to drop off their recyclables.  There is no fee for this service.

CHILDREN MUST REMAIN INSIDE VEHICLES AT ALL TIMES! NO EXCEPTIONS!

The following materials are now being accepted co-mingled: 

GLASS

Recycle Glass Bottles & Jars Only

NO LIGHT BULBS, CERAMICS, WINDOWS, DISHES, FLOWER VASES
Remove & discard lids, rings, and foil. Rinse clean.

PLASTICS

Recycle Plastics Bottles/Containers Only

Drain bottles/containers completely, remove and discard rings, rinse clean and flatten (if possible).
IMPORTANT: Look for the recycling symbol and number on the bottom.  This facility accepts Plastics #1-5 and #7. [#1 PETE Clear (soda), #1 PETE Brown and Green (soda, coffee), #2 HDPE Natural (milk), #2 HDPE Colored (detergent), #3 V (water bottles, salad dressing bottles), #4 LDPE (food storage containers), #5 PP (bottle caps, plastic lids), #7 Other (tupperware and other than plastic #1-5].

NO CONTAINERS THAT CONTAINED MOTOR OIL, PESTICIDES OR HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS ARE TO BE DROPPED OFF.

METAL

Recycle MetalAluminum Cans
NO FOIL OR PIE PANS
Rinse clean and flatten.
Tin & Bimetal Cans
Rinse clean and flatten; remove labels.

The following materials will continue to be accepted "separated": 

NEWSPAPER

Recycle Newspaper Must be bundled and securely tied with twine.
NO PLASTIC BAGS OR OTHER PAPER

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD

Recycle Corrugated Cardboard Cardboard with a top & bottom outside layer and an inside waffle layer. Brown paper bags also accepted. Flatten, bundle, and tie securely with twine. Other types of cardboard such as, beverage cases, cereal boxes, shoe/gift boxes may be bundled and placed with mixed paper. 

PAPER

Recycle Magazines & Junk Mail Includes: Magazines, Junk Mail, White Office Paper, Copier Paper and Computer Paper.

Note: beverage cases, cereal boxes, shoe/gift boxes may be bundled and placed with mixed paper.


No: Phone Books, Carbon Paper, Foil or Plastic Coated Papers

Used Clothing is now being accepted.
